Our step-by-step process for your SharePoint migration

For any project, we meet with you first to understand how you do things now – and how you need them to work in the future. For a SharePoint migration, this will include a discussion about the scope of the project; where and how you store your data, any security concerns and your specific business needs. We’ll then complete an IT audit and capture everything in the scoping document. The project engineer will explain the structural options of SharePoint, based on your business requirements. And then the project plan can be created and agreed.

In the weeks leading to your SharePoint migration, we will communicate the changes to end users via a series of emails. This is to reassure and explain what to expect, via screenshots and FAQ’s.

The build and data transfer is usually staged over the course of a week, prior to the agreed go live date. And the final part of the process is user training and tying up any loose ends. We’re there to support you every step of the way.
